Special Scheduled Events at Papavero

Mom’s Little Vase Workshop

Friday, May 10th, 5:30 - 7:00 pm

Saturday, May 11th, 3:00 - 4:30

Moms bring your littles, grown-ups, familys, or mom groups, and settle in for a session in the studio (yeah, even Dads can come). We will make some sweet little spring vases just perfect for all of those new little flowers popping up in our yards and gardens. We have two sessions available for this one, a friday evening and a Saturday afternoon option. Take your pick, both options are available at the link below.

Participants will learn some new hand-building skills and each will make a little spring bud vase during the session. One finished and dried after the class session, our team at Papavero will glaze with your glaze of choice and fire your vases for you. Cost listed is for one participant, so if you are coming as a pair or more than that, be sure to register for the number of seats that you need. Can’t wait to see you in the studio for this one, it’s sure to be fun! Happy Mother’s Day!

Bamboo Brush Making Workshop

Saturday March 16th 3:00 - 5:00

Come take your glazing and decorating game to the next level, and learn the skill of making bamboo brushes! Participants will learn a bit about materials and hairs that can be used for brushes, and construct a brush using bamboo and a choice of hair supplied. These brushes are great for glaze application in ceramics, but can also be used for watercolor painting, calligraphy, or other water based paint applications. All materials will be provided and participants will leave with a beautiful handmade brush at the end of the workshop.

Handmade Chia Pet/planter workshop

3/23/24 5:30 - 7:00 pm

We all remember those funky little chia pets from when we were younger. Now you can make your own!! Come join us in the studio and spend an evening making a fun little critter plant pet, or even turn it into a little planter for succulents or spring starters. Lets usher in the green of spring with some fun little guys for our homes! No experience necessary, all instruction, tools, and materials will be provided. Finished work will be fired by our great people here at the studio and we’ll let you know when they’re ready for pickup. Participants will go home with a pack of chia seeds ready to become a chia pet! See you in the studio!
