Studio Clay Classes and Options
Classes at Papavero Clay Studio are designed to allow anyone from the beginner to the experienced person to go away at the end of a session with objects that they have designed, made, finished and fired. Whether you haven't touched clay since grade school, or have a home studio and are looking to join into a community of casual makers, we have the space and opportunities for you. New sessions are starting all of the time and sessions run year round to make sure that you have the chance to get into the studio. Scheduling is easy through our online scheduler, and you can choose from one night, group events, kids classes, and adult sessions. Apprenticeship
Two apprenticeship appointments are opening in the studio for 2022. Apprentices should be focused makers, Ideally with a background in clay and a focus on developing their body of work. They will work along side me in the studio, assisting me in my own studio making, teaching classes, running the retail gallery, or general studio maintenance and upkeep. Studio Space Rental
Papavero Clay Studio will now have the option for a limited number of studio rental slots open for serious makers. Semi-private space, full studio access, and 24 hour accessibility to the workspaces, this is a great opportunity for anyone working in a home studio but wants the camaraderie and group development of a community studio. Decorate
Perhaps a full class isn’t your desire, or having a go at finishing something is where you want to begin. Papavero Studio will be able to accommodate you. Choose something from a selection of shapes and objects, all hand made by members of the studio, and decide how you’d like to finish it. Schedule an evening with friends, come in with your family, reunion party, wedding party, or birthday party, and make your day a little more colorful.
